Mornings are absolute chaos most days in our house, and every few months I try to get it together with new ways of getting my kids organized the night before. I had seen so many moms post about overnight oats on Facebook but I never really looked at it as a real time or sanity saver, it just another Pinterest recipe I’d never make. That is until Quaker Canada invited me to an event with HGTV’s Masters of Flip, Kortney Wilson. I have to be honest, I had no idea who Kortney was before I met her, but I had the chance to spend some time with her and chat and wow what a dynamic woman. I love that Quaker brought in a busy, successful, mom that isn’t a chef to show us some of the recipes that her family loves and just how easy it is to make overnight oats.

Here’s how insanely easy it is and your kids can do it themselves.

Step 1: Use a glass mason jar

Step 2: Pour some Quaker Oats into the mason jar

Step 3: Add yogurt, milk, almond milk, coconut milk or other milk

Step 4: Add toppings – fruit, nuts, cinnamon, honey, maple syrup etc.

Step 5: Put the mason jar lid on and place in the fridge

Enjoy in the morning! That’s it! I even make them for myself as a great on the go snack or meals on our way to activities.

Disclosure: This post was sponsored by Quaker Canada, however as always the thought and opinions are all my own.
